Eau Claire, WI – The Holmen Vikings flexed their offensive firepower Tuesday night, defeating Eau Claire North 90-72 in a non-conference road matchup. The victory provides momentum as the Vikings prepare for a conference title showdown at home against Aquinas on Thursday.

Holmen set the tone early, dropping 54 first-half points and taking a commanding 23-point lead into halftime. Eau Claire North fought back in the second half, but the Vikings’ balanced scoring attack proved too much to overcome.

Offensive Standouts:

  • Wilber (#0) led all scorers with 23 points, shooting an efficient 66% from the field, including 7-for-7 on two-pointers.
  • Berget (#21) added 21 points, knocking down three triples and going 4-for-5 from the free-throw line.
  • Bartels (#23) contributed 16 points, hitting four three-pointers.
  • Rink (#13) chipped in 13 points, while Eisermann (#3) had 8 points and a game-high 9 assists.

As a team, Holmen shot an impressive 58% from the field, including 48% from beyond the arc (14-for-29).

With the non-conference win behind them, the Vikings shift their focus to Thursday’s home showdown against Aquinas, where a conference championship is on the line. Holmen has already secured the #4 seed for the upcoming playoffs and looks to enter the postseason on a high note.
