The Holmen girls wrestling team delivered a series of standout individual performances in Tuesday’s dual against Kickapoo/La Farge Youth Initiative (KLFYI). While the team faced a challenging opponent, several Holmen wrestlers secured decisive victories on the mat.

Match Highlights:

• 145 lbs: Celia Drogseth dominated her match, pinning her opponent in 2:43.
• 165 lbs: Keionna Noel delivered a swift victory with a pin in just 0:53.
• 185 lbs: Avalee Euler matched Noel’s speed, pinning her opponent in 0:53.
• 235 lbs: Sophia Walter recorded the fastest pin of the night, ending her match in a mere 0:15.
• 114 lbs: Haley Dezelske added to the team’s success with a fall at 2:56.
• 120 lbs: Kayleen Bazan secured a hard-fought win, pinning her opponent at 4:34.
• 126 lbs: Ellie Adam showed her skill with an impressive pin in only 0:49.

Despite their best efforts, Holmen forfeited at 152 lbs and saw close losses at 138 lbs, 100 lbs, and 107 lbs. The team also faced a double forfeit at 132 lbs.
