In a high-stakes wrestling dual meet between Holmen, ranked #3 in Division 1, and GET/Melrose-Mindoro, ranked #9 in Division 2, Holmen delivered a dominant performance with a decisive victory.

Holmen secured wins in 10 of the 14 matches, showcasing their depth and talent across weight classes. Key highlights included several impressive falls and technical victories.

• • At 175 lbs, Jonathon Lamprich pinned Hunter Lefler in 5:14, while Abraham Henderson followed up at 190 lbs with a pin in just 1:54.

• • 215 lbs saw Conner Degner earn a commanding 15-6 major decision over Cale Pickering.

• • On the lower end, 106 lbs standout Rex Lancaster made quick work of Jaden Page, securing a fall in 1:20, and Nathan Henderson continued the momentum at 126 lbs with a pin at 1:05.

• • Turner Campbell (132 lbs) delivered a technical fall (21-5 in 3:04), and Colin Griffin (157 lbs) wrapped up Holmen’s victories with a 18-2 technical fall at 5:55.

GET/Melrose-Mindoro had strong moments with standout performances by Gunnar Johnson (165 lbs) and Colton Koss (120 lbs), both earning falls in their matches. Aaron Dunigan (285 lbs) also secured a major decision at 10-2, and Koda Purney (113 lbs) impressed with a 14-4 major decision.

Holmen’s overwhelming success in the middle and upper weight classes cemented their continued dominance as one of the top teams in the state.
