Game 1 Recap: Chippewa Falls 3, Holmen 2
Holmen battled to the final out but came up just short in a 3-2 loss to Chippewa Falls on Friday evening. Despite a late surge in the seventh inning, the Vikings couldn’t overcome early deficits as their record moved to 0-3 on the young season.
Offensive Highlights:
- Nolan Mashak came through with a clutch RBI single in the seventh, cutting into Chippewa Falls’ lead and igniting Holmen’s late push.

In a thrilling conclusion to their doubleheader, Holmen and Chippewa Falls fought to a 3-3 draw after seven innings. Both teams exchanged runs early and late, but neither could claim victory as the game ended in a stalemate due to darkness. Holmen moved to 3-1-1 on the season.
