CRG 0 - Lakeshore 3

Diana Hanson

Solid Effort Despite Loss to Lake Shore

The Coulee Region Cyclones faced a tough 3-0 defeat against Lake Shore, but there were plenty of positives to take away from the game. Diana Hansen was exceptional in net, playing like her old self and keeping her team in the game with some incredible saves. She truly stood out and gave the team a chance to rally.

After trailing 1-0 at the end of the first period, the Cyclones picked up their game with much more hustle and effort in the final two periods. While the effort was there, the team struggled to convert on offense. “We just need to find a way to put the puck in the net,” said the coach. “We’re close, but that’s the part of the game we need to figure out.”

The team is back in action tomorrow against Uschool, and with the momentum from their improved play, this should be a great opportunity to take a step forward. If they can play like they did in the second and third periods today, they should be well-prepared for a strong showing.
