In a thrilling matchup on February 7th, the Holmen High School boys’ varsity basketball team triumphed over La Crosse Logan with an impressive 81-64 victory, powered by standout performances from multiple players. The game not only secured a crucial win for Holmen but also featured a historic moment for Kaiden Wilber (0), who scored his 1000th career point.

Wilber, a key contributor throughout the game, finished with 19 points, 2 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 rebounds. Despite a tough shooting night, hitting just 28% from the field, Wilber made up for it at the free-throw line, sinking 11 of 15 attempts (73%) to help lead his team to victory.

Eisermann (3) was a major factor in Holmen’s offense, finishing with a team-high 21 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including a perfect 2-for-2 from beyond the arc and 7-of-7 from the free-throw line. He also contributed 1 assist, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals.

On the other side, La Crosse Logan was led by Hackbarth (0), who scored 18 points. Despite their best efforts, their shooting struggles in the second half allowed Holmen to close out the game in strong fashion.
