Holmen Takes 5th at Bi-State Tournament

The Holmen girls wrestling team had an outstanding showing at the Bi-State Tournament, finishing 5th out of 75 teams. The competition was fierce, with some of the best teams in the state battling for top honors. Holmen’s strong performances throughout the tournament helped them secure a well-earned spot in the top five.

Individual Results:

  • Aini Anderson – 4th place
  • Haley Dezelske – 5th place
  • Kaytlynn Lambries – 7th place
  • Sophia Walter – 9th place
  • Allison Weiss – 11th place
  • Avalee Euler – 12th place

The team’s collective effort earned them 159 points, putting them just behind 4th-place Wausau West with 172 points. Bay Port took the top spot with 198 points, followed by Badger in 2nd with 180.5 points. Holmen’s finish is a testament to the hard work and talent of the wrestlers, and it marks a significant achievement for the program.

This strong showing at Bi-State sets a solid foundation for the rest of the season, and the team continues to build momentum as they head into upcoming competitions.
